According to the Namibia Legal Information Institute (NamibLII) judgment, Xinfeng reported a resource of 8.3 million tonnes of lithium-bearing ore at ~1.04% Li₂O under licence ML243. The project operates under Exclusive Prospecting Licence EPL 7228. The mineral forms stated include spodumene, petalite, lepidolite and amblygonite, with ore grade of 0.53% Li₂O. The company’s mining area covers about 200,000 ha, covering seven mines and mining rights it holds. In 2022, the mining rights for seven mines were acquired, of which the main mining rights are 20 years. Reports say this plant will have a capacity of one million tonnes of concentrated lithium annually.

Mining Details
The Xingfeng project is a hard-rock lithium project based in Daures Constituency, Erongo Region, Namibia (near Uis, historically a tin mining hub), which is 220 km north of Walvis Bay. The project holds a lithium mining license (no. ML243) and has made significant investment in excess of N$600 million to date.
